Emilie's photographic philosophy is rooted in three guiding principles: the human connection, light, and emotion. Whether she is working with a newborn in the controlled environment of her studio or capturing a subject suspended underwater, she approaches every session with precision and genuine warmth, guiding her subjects, professional or not, so they feel at ease in front of the camera. Her goal is always to create images that are elegant, sincere, and timeless. Her relationship with Nikon began naturally, driven by a need for reliable, precise equipment capable of performing across a wide range of shooting conditions. Over time, that relationship evolved into a genuine creative partnership. Today, she shoots primarily with the Nikon Z8 in the studio for maternity, newborn, family, and portrait sessions, and uses the Nikon Z7II in an underwater housing for her aquatic work. Her lens selection reflects the breadth of her practice: the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 serves as her go-to studio lens for its versatility and optical quality, while the NIKOR Z 135mm Plena brings a particular softness and depth to her portrait work. The NIKKOR Z 105mm f/2.8 Macro captures the fine details that make newborn sessions so precious, and the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 keeps her agile during reportage and events.
